Além de ter que lidar com desaparecimento de Stefan, a personagem se sentirá cada vez mais atraída pelo Damon e também enfrentará vários problemas com seu irmão Jeremy.
Por falar em Stefan, nessa temporada conheceremos um lado mais sombrio do gato. Desde que se juntou a Klaus, ele se tornou obcecado por sangue e não será nada fácil controlar seus desejos.
Já o clima de romance fica por conta Caroline e Tyler, que vão se entregar de vez a paixão que sentem um pelo outro. A estreia da 3ª temporada acontece no dia 15 de setembro nos Estados Unidos.
